This post is very inspiring. I am creative at work and varying levels of creative at home. I forgot that routine used to be the key to my creative habits. Thank you for the reminder.
Thank you for this post!!!! Love your art! I read Big Magic years ago...maybe I need to read it again! And follow your prompts when I feel the need to quiet my doubts (always!).
Loved this post, Cait! I just finished a series of "tiny glimmers" paintings for a show opening next month and was thinking of gathering them into a book too. You beat me to it! Pre-ordered my copy and so excited about it. Love your work and your words! xo
Just keeping on going is so important. I always think of elite athletes and their training. No one asks them where their inspiration comes from, they just put the miles in. It's the same for art.
I’ve read all of those recommended books except Turning Pro! Have you read The War of Art (also by Steven Pressfield)? That one’s been on my TBR list for ages too. *jogs to the library*
I love this. Thank you for sharing. So relatable. We all feel this way. Also just realized that within the app, I can listen to a post! Game changer.
I recently realized that too! Love that feature

Of course! I struggle with it too, but a schedule always makes me feel more secure in my creativity.

Thank you Jeannine! I just picked up Big Magic this year and absolutely loved it. It's always good to have a plan when the doubts start creeping in!

GAH, thank you so much!!! Make your book too- there's room for all the glimmers! I'm so excited to see all the images for your upcoming show <3
